Nagpur: As relief operations continue in fire-hit Dhamangaon, authorities have begun addressing both immediate needs and longer-term concerns, particularly for residents who lost critical documents and assets in the blaze.Following his visit on Sunday, guardian minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule said arrangements are in place to distribute foodgrains and essential supplies, along with health camps, water tanker services, and educational support, including books, uniforms and bicycles for affected students.The district administration will set up special camps within a week to help residents reissue key documents such as Aadhaar and PAN cards, bank records, and land papers. Officials said the process will be streamlined to ensure quick access to benefits and services.A meeting with bank branch managers has been convened to explore temporary relief on EMIs, as several villagers lost household items and vehicles bought on credit. With insurance papers also destroyed, banks have been urged to adopt a flexible approach.
